Your Data

How to delete your data

You can stop BEGL's access to your email and calendar at any time, and ask us to delete everything we store about you.

1. Disconnect a mailbox in BEGL

Sign in to BEGL and open the Email Connectors page. Open the menu next to the mailbox you want to remove and choose Delete, then confirm. Only organization admins can delete a connector.

BEGL's access to that mailbox and its calendar is revoked immediately: we stop reading new email, you can no longer send from that address in BEGL, and deadline calendar sync turns off. Messages and offer data BEGL already stored stay in your BEGL account until you delete them or ask us to (see step 3).

2. Revoke BEGL's access in your Google Account

You can also remove BEGL's access directly from Google. Go to your Google Account → Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services (or open myaccount.google.com/connections), select BEGL, and remove its access. Like disconnecting in BEGL, this stops our access but doesn't delete data already stored in your BEGL account.

3. Request deletion of all your data

To delete all of your data — your account, stored emails, extracted offers, deals, and any connected account data — email privacy@begl.io from the email address on your BEGL account and tell us what you'd like deleted. We may ask you to verify your identity first. We respond to deletion requests within 30 days, with possible extensions as allowed by law.

Some records, such as invoices and payment history, must be kept for legal and tax purposes even after your account is deleted, and deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for a limited period before it is permanently purged. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for details.
